Summary: The Marketing Information Specialist's focus is on the management, coordination and collection of marketing-related information and digital assets for Cosential (industry-specific CRM/proposal automation software) and other Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems, using technology and interpersonal skills to gather data and details about Layton's projects, process and people. The Marketing Information Coordinator is a key member of Layton's Corporate Marketing and Communications Departments and will work closely with users in those departments.

This position is located in our corporate headquarters in Sandy, UT. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasionally, may require overtime for assisting with special projects, proposals and presentations. Occasionally, will attend planning meetings at times and locations other than normal working hours.

  4. Regularly reach out to technical staff and other departments to help collect information and discover compelling content

  6. Highly organized and can prioritize multiple, simultaneous requests and projects in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  7. Develop processes and best practices for collecting project, process and people information and inputting into a database
  8. Develop processes and best practices for managing other digital assets and overall organization
  9. Work closely with marketing and communications teams to collect information on a regular basis
  10. Work with interns or temporary help on basic data entry projects (inputting legacy info into database)
  11. Regularly review and 'clean' data for database
  12. Regularly generate reports / perform research from database to provide various teams information
  13. Help implement and manage other Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems
  14. Proofing, editing and standardizing information
  15. Help create and update marketing content for materials such as: experience lists, process sheets, project lists, construction job reference information, resumes, industry and/or market segment information, and various other marketing documents for use in RFPs and RFQs, etc.
  16. Help review all standard marketing materials to update and maintain the most current and accurate information
  17. Assist and mentor other team members in best practices related to information collection / management and database usage
  18. Work with other departments to help identify and improve 'Knowledge Management' within the organization
  19. Performs other related duties as assigned to support Layton's Corporate Marketing Department



  1. 3 to 5 years minimum experience in working with databases and digital asset management, Cosential is preferred
  2. Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) in related field or equivalent; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  3. Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  4. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud/Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
  5. Highly organized; establish priorities and a course of action for handling multiple tasks
  6. Strong written and oral communications skills; communicates clearing in writing and uses correct spelling and grammar
  7. Work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines and demands
